Relegence Now Supports Non-English-Language Newswires

Relegence adds Dow Jones Newswires local language news to its real-time news and information search engine

NEW YORK, January 24, 2006 - Dow Jones Newswires and The Relegence Corporation today announced an agreement to jointly distribute Newswires' full suite of European local-language services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), via the Relegence platform. The agreement will allow Dow Jones Newswires users access to Dow Jones content in the language of their choice, with additional real-time, search and filter functionality provided by Relegence. This alliance allows both Relegence and Dow Jones to expand their offerings to wider audiences throughout the EMEA region.

The agreement represents the first time that Relegence has integrated non-English news into its sophisticated filter and search technology. As the selected delivery mechanism for Dow Jones Newswires content, Relegence now processes news in German, French, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Portuguese (including Brazilian Portuguese) and Spanish.

This agreement expands the long-standing partnership between Relegence and Dow Jones, and is intended to extend the reach of both companies into new markets.

"This agreement demonstrates our commitment to keeping Dow Jones Newswires at the forefront of the development and distribution of real-time news and information," said Michael Bergmeijer, vice president and managing director, international, Dow Jones Newswires. "We are delighted that, with Relegence, we can now offer our non-English-speaking users access to searchable news and information as it transpires."

"We pride ourselves on aligning with expert partners. This strategically important relationship truly raises the bar when it comes to filtering and sorting multiple-language news," said Bob Grant, senior vice president, Relegence. "This agreement, coupled with our EMEA launch, clearly demonstrates our commitment to driving the use of search technology globally."

Relegence is showcasing its revolutionary technology solutions and celebrating its EMEA launch at Finexpo in London on Thursday, 26 January 2006. The conference will be held at Cabot Hall, Canary Wharf. Relegence will occupy booth number 15. Please contact Victoria Aitken at +44 (0) 20 7959 5265 to schedule interviews.
